pustrongJOB SUMMARY/strong/u/ppThe Parts Finisher performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce various types of specified products in addition to completing routine tasks of hand washing or operating the ultra-sonic wash machine to clean manufactured components.nbsp;/ppnbsp;/ppustrongESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /strong/u/pul liDeburs parts with tools such as deburring wheels, reamers, drills, sandpaper, scotchbrite, small files, or small pneumatic tools./li liLoads and unloads materials or parts from washer to specified area./li liImmerses objects in washing and rinsing solutions to remove debris./li liWashes parts in ultrasonic machine or solvent, dries parts, examines parts, removes debris./li liMeasures and pours soap or chemical into wash water, set controls to regulate cycle of wash and water temperature./li liInspects parts, some under microscope./li liResponsible for Heli-Coil installation /li liCompletes parts assembly (non-electronic parts) and packaging./li liCompletes paperwork./li liOperates a pallet jack / other moving equipment./li /ulpu/u/ppustrongREQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES/strong/u/pul liAbility to communicate effectively with supervisor as needed./li liAbility to follow oral and written instructions./li liAbility to recognize and sort materials./li liAbility to operate machinery./li liStrong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed./li /ulpnbsp;/ppustrongEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/strong/uu /u/pul liPrevious general labor experience in a machine shop environment preferred./li liHigh School diploma or GED Equivalent preferred./li /ulpnbsp;/ppustrongPHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/strong/u/pul liRegularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8-10 hours./li liOccasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend./li liFrequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work./li liRegularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds./li liUnderstands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned./li /ul
