Able to work independently without direct supervision.nbsp;/p /li li pSchedules time to maximize patient participation in conjunction with other team members.nbsp; Records specific activity and treatment times per established procedures.nbsp;nbsp;/p /li li pRecognizes opportunities to assist the rehabilitation team and takes initiative to provide support.nbsp;/p /li li pSeeks and probes for information from nursing staff relative to the patientrsquo;s mobility and self-care performance and in accordance with MDS procedures.nbsp; Conveys gathered information to appropriate nursing and therapy staff.nbsp;/p /li li pAssists in the training of certified nursing assistant staff on the delivery of nursing restorative plans.nbsp; Enlists support of other nursing leaders or rehabilitation professionals when needed.nbsp;/p /li li pAssists patients with moving in/out of bed, transferring from one surface to another, and walking safely.nbsp;/p /li li pConveys feedback and information from patient and/or family to therapy and nursing personnel as needed.nbsp;nbsp;/p /li li pMaintains positive relationships and rapport with co-workers, patients, family members, and building personnel, modeling respectful behavior by exhibiting professionalism with coworkers.nbsp;/p /li li pMaintains knowledge of and adheres to all applicable and established confidentiality standards including all HIPAA rules and regulations.nbsp;nbsp;/p /li li pDemonstrates and understands the importance of and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each patient visitor and staff in all interactions.nbsp;/p /li li pReports, as appropriate, actual or suspicious activity related to fraud and/or operational abuse of laws, regulations and standards.nbsp;/p /li /ul pnbsp;/p pProcesses:nbsp;/p pnbsp;/p ul li pLimited documentation of patient treatments/interactions.nbsp;/p /li li pReports to work on time and maintains regular attendance.nbsp;nbsp;/p /li li pMaintains safe and clean work area and adheres to company safety standards.nbsp; Complies with all Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
