pDescription/ppnbsp;nbsp;/ppstrongSUMMARY/strong/ppbr//ppThe Receiver I is responsible for nbsp;nbsp;verifying delivered items, unloading trucks, and ensuring items are stored correctly. nbsp;nbsp;The Receiver I verifies deliveries with great attention to detail and ensures nbsp;nbsp;efficient receiving processes and promptly resolve any problems or nbsp;nbsp;discrepancies./ppstrongPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pp· Receive goods using RF Scanners; verify the quantity and count of items unloaded from trucks and trailers./pp· Validate suppliers’ count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor per company policy./pp· Compare purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists./pp· Inspect deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria./pp· Receive and sign for deliveries./pp· Unload deliveries from trucks./pp· Report damaged merchandise to the supervisor./pp· Organize and store received items in appropriate areas./pp· Update inventory with received items./pp· Communicate with vendors regarding delays or problems./pp· Maintain records of orders, delivery details, etc./pp· Process all receiving transactions and paperwork./pp· Inspect all incoming freight for damages./pp· Assist in maintaining material inventory levels./pp· Assist in responses to requests for tracing of missing shipments./pp· Assist in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area./pp· Perform required administrative tasks; prepare all required reports and correspondence./pp· Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follow safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job./pp· Perform additional duties as assigned./ppRequirements/ppnbsp;nbsp;/ppstrongJOB REQUIREMENTS/strongnbsp;/pp· Education: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;High School Diploma or equivalent specific experience/pp· Minimum of nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;1-2 years experience or equivalent./pp· Basic proficiency experience in RF scanner and WMS system/pp· Basic to intermediate familiarity with shipping and receiving practices and handling methods./pp· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills./pp· Basic understanding of safety requirements for lifting and equipment maintenance./pp· Ability to perform basic math calculations./pp· Ability to work with minimal supervision./pp· Strong attention to detail./pp· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions./ppstrongADDITIONAL INFORMATION:nbsp;/strong/pp· Actively supports and complies with Company’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement./pp· Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels./pp· Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager./pp· Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime.
