The Cross-Categorical Behavior Teacher supports with case management for students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. The teacher collaborates with general education teachers, instructional assistants, related service providers, and other relevant staff to ensure that students with disabilities receive a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment./lilistrongCross-Categorical Developmental/strongspan /spanis a specialized assignment that instructs students who have a wide range of cognitive, developmental, communication, social, emotional, and physical disabilities. The Cross-Categorical Developmental Teacher plans for and teaches reading, writing, math, speaking, listening, and adaptive and social-emotional skills to address the stated needs in students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP). The Cross-Categorical Developmental Teacher supports with case management for students with cognitive and/or developmental delays. The teacher collaborates with general education teachers, instructional assistants, related service providers, and other relevant staff to ensure that students with disabilities receive a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment./lilistrongResource/strongspan /spanis a specialized assignment that instructs students who have a wide range of learning, developmental, emotional, and physical disabilities.
