This includes, but is not limited to, order fulfillment, receiving and stocking materials, customer deliveries, warehouse organization, and inventory maintenance./p pstrongResponsibilities/Duties:/strong/p ul listrongDelivery and Transportation:/strong ul liDeliver goods to customer-specified sites using company transport vehicles as needed./li liConfirm delivery information with the customer before leaving the warehouse./li liPhysically load and unload goods at each site safely and securely, using provided equipment if available./li liEnsure loads are properly secured before transport./li liPick up goods from suppliers as requested by DC management./li /ul /li /ul ul listrongWarehouse Operations:/strong ul liUnload and receive stock replenishment materials into the warehouse./li liPut away received goods according to company receiving policies./li liNote any damaged goods during the receiving process and notify the appropriate personnel./li liEnsure clear and safe passage in all warehouse aisles and loading docks./li liReport all unsafe storage and equipment issues to DC management immediately./li liAssist in order entry via the computer sales order program if needed./li liPull materials to fill orders using a pick ticket in an organized fashion./li liPerform multiple quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of shipped goods./li liAssist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counting./li /ul /li /ul ul listrongCustomer Service:/strong ul liProvide exceptional customer service./li /ul /li /ul ul listrongSafety and Compliance:/strong ul liEnsure a clean and safe environment regarding all working conditions./li liObserve all safety guidelines, including but not limited to DOT, OSHA, and company policies and regulations./li liParticipate in all safety training and maintain required safety certifications./li /ul /li /ul ul listrongOther Responsibilities:/strong ul liPerform other duties as beneficial to IDI./li /ul /li /ul pstrongLeadership Competencies:/strong/p ul listrongLeads Self/strong ul liCommunicates Effectively Candidly/li liDrives for Results/li liDemonstrates Accountability/li liTakes Initiative/li liCollaborates/li /ul /li /ul pstrongQualifications/Skills:/strong/p ul listrongEquipment Operation:/strong ul liOperate material handling equipment, including a forklift, pallet jack, and shrink wrapper./li /ul /li /ul ul listrongProduct Identification and Handling:/strong ul liIdentify product numbers using alpha/numeric codes./li liAbility to lift up to 75 lbs./li /ul /li /ul ul listrongComputer and Inventory Systems:/strong ul liUse and learn computer order entry and inventory systems./li /ul /li /ul ul listrongPerformance and Compliance:/strong ul liAchieve set goals in a timely manner./li liMaintain a CDL Class A Driver’s license./li /ul /li /ul pstrongEducation/Experience:/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent education and experience/li liMeets all DOT, state and/or legal requirements tat pertain to this position/li li1+ years’ experience in warehouse facility preferred/li li2-4+ years’ experience operating commercial vehicles including combination and straight trucks preferred/li liForklift experience preferred/li /ul p /p
