Station Manager

pstrongspanPOSITION PURPOSE: /span/strong/p pThis position is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of a vehicle emissions testing station, in accordance with company objectives, policies, procedures and applicable laws./p p /p pstrongPAY RATE: /strong$24.00/hr plus a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits and 401k with a company match!/p p /p pstrongspanDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/span/strong/p ul liManage and coordinate the operation of the station within budget, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, while promoting exceptional customer service. This includes: ul liEnsuring that all customer complaints and damage claims are documented and appropriately resolved/li lispanPrepare and submit administrative reports in a timely manner. /span/li lispanEnsuring station complies with all safety requirements in accordance with the company’s Incident and Accident Reporting Procedures. /span/li lispanCoordinating general facility maintenance such as cleaning, snow shoveling, and other basic janitorial tasks /span/li /ul /li liManage station remitter and voucher programs and ensure that all funds are accounted for and properly reconciled which includes: ul liReceive and properly secure remitter certificate inventory/li liProcess remitter transactions – debit, credit, voids and refunds/li liProvides training on station remitter program – including how to use the remitter application and payment processing terminal/li /ul /li liProvide for manpower needs of the station by leading and managing staff members. This includes: ul lispanCreating a working environment that generates high employee morale and productivity/span/li liScheduling, assigning, and directing work to meet performance standards and contract requirements/li liSelecting, coaching, training, and managing performance of team./li liEvaluating employees by providing constructive feedback, counseling and documenting appropriately./li liConducting new hire and annual performance reviews in established timeframes/li /ul /li /ul p /p p /p p /p ul liPerform waiver inspections on all applicable vehicles, and grant waivers according to IEPA guidelines/li liMaintain compliance to all quality assurance standards and associated procedures/li liTravel to other stations to provide management and staffing support as needed/li /ul
