Parts will be made in direct compliance to the quality manual and reflect the schedule listed on the most current ldquo;Cut-Sheetrdquo; provided by the Metal Shop Supervisor.br / Essential duties and responsibilities include, however are not limited to:br / bull; Ability to read and follow specification sheets and drawings.br / bull; Fabricates parts by using appropriate tools resident in the metal shop.br / bull; Ensures all parts are in direct compliance with ICSrsquo;s quality standards.br / bull; Certified on all equipment resident in the metal shop.br / bull; Conduct daily safety and operational inspections on equipment being used, recording all information on the form.br / bull; Alerts Supervisor and Lead personnel if equipment is not functioning properly.br / bull; Assists Supervisor and Lead person in developing ldquo;Cut sheets.rdquo;br / bull; Delivers all fabricated parts to the assembly line, on time, properly marked and within quality standards.br / bull; Assists Line Lead or Supervisor in ordering replenishment metal parts.br / bull; Uses metal tape measure to verify first and last part formed on the sheer or brake.br / bull; Legibly labels the parts produced with the serial number and product number of the building (black permanent marker)br / bull; Produces accessory parts, trim pieces and small assembly parts when directed to do so by Line Lead or Supervisorbr / bull; Segregates usable metal pieces, storing them properly and using them for other applications.br / bull; Continually performs 5S throughout the metal shop.br / bull; Cross trains within other departments.br / bull; Adheres to all policies, rules, regulations of International Cold Storage, Carrier, and United Technologiesbr / bull; Communicates effectively with production team, internal employees, and individuals external to the organization.br / bull; Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects relating to training and development./p h4Qualifications/h4brpPhysical Effort/requirements:br / bull; Display the ability to safely handle all metal parts.br / bull; Display the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.br / bull; Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and heavy equipment.br / Recommended Training/Education:br / bull; High School Diploma or GED.br / bull; Formal or OJT sheet metal training and certification/p
