This role ensures that all facilities are clean, safe, and presentable for employees and the public. Work includes basic carpentry, landscaping, janitorial duties, minor plumbing, and general repair tasks./divdiv /divdivbKey Responsibilities:/b/divul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"liPerform custodial and general maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom cleaning./liliMow lawns, trim hedges, remove weeds, and maintain landscaping across transit properties./liliConduct inspections of facilities and grounds to identify safety hazards, needed repairs, or areas requiring attention./liliPerform minor repairs to buildings including painting, patching, door adjustments, and furniture assembly./liliClear snow and ice, or other hazards, from walkways and entry points./liliEnsure bus stops, shelters, and terminals are clean, free of debris, and maintained properly./liliRespond to maintenance requests or emergencies as needed during assigned shifts./liliOperate light equipment and tools such as lawn mowers, blowers, pressure washers, and small power tools./liliFollow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel./liliSupport special projects, seasonal tasks, and assist other maintenance staff as assigned./li/uldivbQualifications:/b/divdiv /divdivbEducation Experience:/b/divul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"liHigh school diploma or equivalent required./liliValid driver's license/liliAt least one (1) year of experience in general maintenance, custodial work, landscaping, or groundskeeping./li/uldiv style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;line-height: normal;"/divdivbKnowledge, Skills Abilities:/b/divul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"liBasic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) preferred./liliAbility to use hand tools and power equipment safely./liliAbility to work independently and follow written and oral instructions./liliComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions./liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or walk for extended periods, and perform physical labor./li/uldiv /divdivbLicenses Certifications:/b/divul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"liValid driver’s license with good driving record required./liliMust be able to pass a background check and drug screening./li/uldivbWork Environment:/b/divul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"liWork is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, chemicals, and noise./liliSchedule may include weekends, holidays, and early morning/late evening shifts./li/ul
