pUnder the direction of the Department Supervisor, the strongForeman/strong is the first line of supervision to field crews. The Foreman provides daily leadership over crews to ensure a safe working environment, quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and compliance with governmental agencies. The Foreman demonstrates and promotes Peak Utilities Services Group and Subsidiaries Core values./p pstrongPay Rate:/strong $34.00-$36.00 per hour /p pstrongRoles and Responsibilities:/strongbr /emReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions./em/p ul liCollect and monitor daily time and material coordination sheets coming from the field crews/li liVerify that transactions comply with Xcel Gas contracts and standards and Peak Utilities Services Group and Subsidiaries policies and procedures/li liUpdate daily crew schedules and communications to Peak Utilities Services Group and Subsidiaries Supervisors/li liProcess Xcel job packets, coordinate with permit technician and coordinate the accuracy and updates for Material Releases for individual projects/li liMaintain organized system of document retention/li liMaintain updated job scheduling and completion records/li liRespond to inquiries from internal departments regarding time reports, billing, unit and Time and Expense questions/li liSchedule quality and safety crew inspections for Operations management/li liSupport the coordination of third- party vendor rentals and repairs for individual job projects/li liCoordinate and schedule the inspection and certification of tool and equipment inspection/li liCoordinate the scheduling of ancillary services on projects with Supervisor’s assistance/li liMaintain a log with phone calls, discussions, requests, events, emails, and similar/li liThe Foreman provides daily leadership over New Construction crews to ensure a safe working environment, quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and compliance with governmental agencies/li /ul pstrongSuccess Factors:/strong/p ul liKnowledge of basic underground utilities/li liSkills in operating heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safely/li liAbility to use time and equipment efficiently to complete projects on time/li liAbility to communicate effectively in a team environment/li liMechanical aptitude/li liMapping and Print Reading/li liAbility to work in confined spaces/li liMechanical ability; and knowledge of equipment and heavy vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair/li liRepetitive Lifting of Vac Piping Connections/li /ul pstrongExperience and Education:/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent desired/li liThree to Five (3-5) years’ experience in a utility construction role is require/li liExperience working with underground utilities desired/li liCDL A is required/li /ul pstrongAdditional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:/strong/p ul liPossession of a valid State Driver's License is required./li liCandidates must pass Criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check and a pre-employment drug screen/li liAuthorization to work in the US/li /ul pstrongNotes:/strongbr /The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
