A Bartender does not just take orders – they provide suggestions and use selling techniques to increase the order while enhancing the Guest’s visit. They will maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing an extraordinarily memorable Guest experience. p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppbResponsibilities:/b/ppThe essential duties and responsibilities of a Bartender include, but are not limited to, the following: /pulliGreets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner /liliPossesses full knowledge of bar and menu items and makes recommendations /liliAccurately records food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner  /liliVerifies identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions /liliEnsures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only /liliConsistently uses suggestive selling techniques /liliCollaborates with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate /liliDelivers food and beverage orders within established time frames  /liliProcesses payment for completed guest orders /liliMaintains appropriate stock levels for the bar /liliAssists the General Manager on duty with placing orders for all liquor and bar related supplies  /liliConsistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areas/liliProperly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks /liliAdapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks  /liliMonitors safety and/security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports issues to management /liliPerforms other work-related duties as assigned /li/ulp/ppbRequirements: /b/pulliBartenders need to be at least 21 years of age   /liliCompletes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required /liliTeam Members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program /liliPrior experience in a high-volume bar environment preferred /liliAvailability to work flexible hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidays  /liliRequires regular and consistent attendance  /liliHas an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift  /liliProvides excellent Guest service  /liliAccurate cash handling and basic math skills /liliInterpersonal skills include the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities.
