(Online synchronous class may be available as a second option.)/liliAssigned course will align with the faculty’s clinical experience, e.g. adult heath, community health, pediatrics, etc./liliMust complete an onboarding module and course/curriculum specific orientation to last five to six weeks (approx. 16-18 hours total)./liliTeaches the didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator or other supervisor./liliKeeps course coordinator or location leader informed of all student and agency issues and concerns./liliIs available for student remediation as required and needed./liliGrades and returns course assignments and other required course work in a timely manner./liliAssumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads./liliEvaluates and provides documented feedback to students on level of performance based on course objectives./liliImplements the University’s philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives in the selected learning environment./liliContributes to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the University./liliWorks with college administration, staff and other faculty members to improve the overall operation of the college and student satisfaction rates./liliParticipates in the implementation of campus retention efforts and departmental and campus policies./liliServes as a professional role model for other faculty, staff, and students in the areas of customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, dress, attendance, and general professionalism./liliComplies with all applicable regulatory rules and standards./liliReports to the dean, teaching and learning. #xa0;/li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongulliMaster's degree in nursing (rstrongequired)/strong/liliUnencumbered#xa0;RN license (strongrequired/strong)/liliIllinois and Multi-State nursing licenses strong(highly preferred)/strong/lili1+ years#xa0;higher education teaching experience within last five years#xa0;strong(required)/strong/liliLicensed in Texas, North Carolina and Indiana strong(highly preferred)/strong/liliExcellent communication skills with high level of initiative and prudent judgment/li/ulstrongAdditional Information:/strongpstrongChamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus:/strongbr emIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715 per credit hour to $1,004 per credit hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.br br Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
