This is a unique opportunity for motivated Technologists to play a key role in building the program from the ground up. As a valued member of our compassionate and collaborative community oncology team, you will help shape workflows, establish best practices, and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care. Ideal candidates are confident problem-solvers, comfortable working independently, and eager to contribute to a service and team that will make a meaningful, lasting impact on the lives of our patients./ph2/h2h2IMAGING EQUIPMENT:/h2ulliGE Omni Legend 16 PET/CT (64 slice, 72KW CT, dBGO detector, 16cm PET FOV)/li/ulh2/h2h2ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:/h2ulliPerform diagnostic CT imaging procedures with a high level of technical competence and patient care./liliPerform diagnostic CT procedures including the injection of IV contrast and administration of oral contrast agents./liliDemonstrate knowledge of contraindications and appropriately recognize and respond to contrast reactions./liliApply radiation safety techniques to protect patients, staff, and self in compliance with ALARA principles./liliCarry out complete imaging protocols, including patient positioning, image acquisition, and data archiving./liliCollaborate with front office and clinical teams to support scheduling and ensure efficient daily workflow./liliMaintain ACR accreditation standards and assist in managing related documentation and quality requirements./liliAccurately document patient demographics, manage image/report distribution, and maintain records in PACS/EMR systems./liliPerform required daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly QA/QC on CT components of PET/CT equipment in accordance with California and ACR guidelines./liliPromptly report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel./liliAssist in updating and maintaining CT imaging protocols and support implementation of software upgrades./liliMonitor, track, and replenish medical supply inventory to ensure operational readiness./liliAdhere to HIPAA regulations and uphold confidentiality of all protected health information (PHI)./liliCollaborate with physicians, physicists, technologists, and care team members to ensure high imaging standards and exceptional patient care./liliUtilize dose optimization tools and protocols to ensure high-quality, low-dose CT imaging./liliPerform other duties as assigned to support departmental operations and patient care./li/ulp/ph2QUALIFICATIONS amp; REQUIREMENTS:/h2ulliGraduate of an accredited Radiography program – bRequired/b/liliARRT(R) certification, current and in good standing – bRequired/b/liliARRT(CT) certification, current and in good standing – bRequired/b/liliCalifornia CRT Certificate (CDPH-RHB) – bRequired/b/liliBLS certification through AHA –b Required/b/lili1 year of CT imaging experience b- Required/b/liliProficient in patient positioning and basic equipment troubleshooting/liliStrong understanding of radiation safety practices, including ALARA principles/liliKnowledge of CT imaging equipment operation and related safety protocols/li/ulh2/h2h2DESIREABLE SKILLS amp; EXPERIENCE/h2ulliProtocol development or experience launching new CT imaging services/liliPrior use of GE imaging equipment/liliExperience performing diagnostic CT on a PET/CT hybrid system/liliFamiliarity with ACR accreditation standards and compliance processes/li/ulh2/h2h2ABOUT PACIFIC CANCER CARE:/h2pPacific Cancer Care has provided superior care for patients for nearly 50 years.
