Join us and work towards creating an inclusive and diverse workforce experience at Wallick./ppstrongAbout your role as a Personal Care Assistant:/strong/ppYou will provide direct resident care and strive to give our residents worth and meaning helping them strive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose. You will work as part of a team that ensures the residents have a comfortable and safe place to call Home./ppstrongYour Responsibilities as a Personal Care Assistant on our team/strong:/pulliProvide exceptional Personal service and daily care to residents. span /span/liliCommunicate effectively with residents, staff management and families. span /span/liliKnowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures. span /span/liliProvides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming. span /span/liliAnswers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the resident’s needs. span /span/liliAssists in maintaining acceptable nutrition for residents and documents meal intake. span /span/liliKnows proper technique for first aid. span /span/liliCompletes documentation of medication reminder. span /span/liliAssists in maintaining a therapeutic environment for the residents. span /span/liliMotivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities. span /span/liliAssists residents to and from activities. span /span/liliLifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed. span /span/liliPerform other related duties as assigned./li/ulpstrongAbout You/strong: You have great customer service skills, and are flexible, compassionate, and dependable. Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus, but all nurses are encouraged to apply!/ppstrongYou also have:/strong/pulliGreat customer service skills./liliCPR Certified.
