pstrongPosition Summary:nbsp;/strong/p pTo be an active member of the dietary team to provide the best dietary service for patients, employees and staff/p pstrongEducation, License amp; Cert:nbsp;/strong/p pMust have grammar school education, should be able to read and write and be able to understand written and oral communication./p pstrongExperience:nbsp;/strong/p pSome experience desirable, but not necessary./p pstrongEssential Functions:nbsp;/strong/p ol liPerforms functions of a food service helper according to department policy and procedure. ul liPrepares assembly line station for patient tray service in a timely manner./li liAssembles food items for patient tray service according to marked menu./li liTransports food carts to and from designated areas on patient floors in a safe and timely manner./li liCollects all garbage in Dietary and Cafeteria areas and transports to compactor/incinerator in a timely manner./li liScrapes and washes all dishware from patient trays and employee cafeteria according to department sanitation procedures./li liScrubs and sanitizes all pots and pans and organizes in designated area./li liUtilizes proper body mechanics to prevent injuries./li liDemonstrates age specific communication skills./li /ul/li liMaintains a neat, clean and sanitary work area./li /ol pstrongOther Duties:nbsp;/strong/p ul liOther duties as assigned./li /ul pThe pay ranges from $17.00- $22.37 nbsp;per hour/ph2Company/h2divp class="MsoNormal"Joining the Guthrie team allows you to become a part of a tradition of excellence in health care.
