The Inline Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough visual and dimensional inspections of products and components throughout the production process to ensure compliance with Vertiv's quality standards and ISO requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior quality inspection experience, a keen eye for visual detail, and proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment./p

pstrongRESPONSIBILITIES/strongbr
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement in support of plant-wide performance goals.br
• Perform visual inspections of in-process and finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications.br
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures to verify dimensional accuracy of parts.br
• Review and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection plans to carry out accurate assessments.br
• Document inspection results, including defects and non-conformance reports, and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.br
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with Quality and Production teams.br
• Ensure proper calibration and handling of measurement tools and equipment.br
• Perform in-line audits, first-piece inspections, and random sample checks as required.br
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection work areas.br
• Complete other duties as assigned./p

pstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strongbr
• High School Diploma or GEDbr
• 1+ years of prior experience in a quality control or inspection role in a manufacturing environmentbr
• Basic understanding of measurement systems and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)br
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelersbr
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional discrepanciesbr
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation/p
pstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strongbr
• Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related fieldbr
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 certified manufacturing facilitybr
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and quality improvement methodologiesbr
• Experience using SPC (Statistical Process Control) tools or inspection softwarebr
• Knowledge of GDamp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)/p

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move materials as neededbr
• Ability to stand for extended periods of timebr
