pstrongCNA position available for PRN. /strong/p p /p p /p pCore competencies for the position include, but are not limited to the following:/p ul liProvide for the individual rights of patients receiving services of the medical center. /liliProvides direct observation of the patient's physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs as they relate to the patient's age. /liliProvides appropriate nursing care based on the individual patient's needs, as directed by the RN/LPN. /liliProvides healthcare education, as directed by the RN/LPN, to patients and/or families in response to identified educational needs. /liliProvide continuity of care by enlisting the services of other healthcare team members to plan a timely and trouble-free discharge to the level of care appropriate to the patient's condition. /liliManage the patient's care to ensure patient safety. /liliManages the patient's environment of care and care unit to ensure environmental safety. /liliManage time and supplies efficiently in the care of the patient to ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources. /liliCommunicate pertinent information to appropriate individuals in the management of nursing care. /liliAccurately document the activities of patient care in the patient record in a complete and timely manner. /liliPossess necessary knowledge of patient information systems, equipment use/cleaning/trouble-shooting, and isolation techniques to ensure availability of information, safe equipment use, and appropriate infection control in the medical center setting./li/ulbr div id="textContent" class="readOnlyFrame"Graduate of approved Certified Nurse's Aid program, or actively participating in approved CNA class required.  BLS Required./div
