Mechanical Fitter

pstrongRESPONSIBILITIES/strong/p ul liMaintain a positive, solutions-focused, and productive attitude in support of plant goals for reliability, safety, integrity, quality, and overall performance./li liRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assemble mechanical components using hand tools, strongutorque wrenches preferred experience /u/strong, and other equipment./li liUtilize forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment to transport components within the facility./li liPerform mechanical troubleshooting to identify and address issues during assembly and ensure proper documentation of corrective actions./li liCollaborate with team members to solve production challenges and meet daily targets./li liAssist with basic maintenance tasks and support engineering or electrical teams when needed./li liMaintain accurate production records, including parts assembled and quantities completed./li liComplete other duties as assigned./li /ul div nbsp; /div pstrongQUALIFICATIONS/strong/p pstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/p ul liHigh School Diploma or GED/li liAbility to work effectively in a team environment/li liPrior experience using hand tools and operating forklifts/li liStrong understanding of mechanical systems and safe work practices/li /ul pstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/p ul liAssociate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field/li liDemonstrated experience or prior certification in operating overhead cranes/li liFamiliarity with mechanical fitting in a manufacturing or industrial environment/li /ul div nbsp; /div pstrongPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/strong/p ul liAbility to routinely lift 50+ lbs and transport objects as needed/li liAbility to climb ladders/li liAbility to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing/li liManual dexterity to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment/li /ul div nbsp; /div pstrongENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS/strong/p ul liAbility to work in indoor and outdoor environments where temperatures may exceed 100°F or fall below 32°F, including exposure to environmental elements/li /ul div nbsp; /div pstrongTRAVEL TIME REQUIRED/strong/p ul liNone/li /ul
