liIncreases or decreases recipe yield and implements adjustment upon managerrsquo;s approval./li
liReviews weekly menu and adjusts recipes to appropriate yield: pulls food from freezer to thaw; completes panning and prep work./li
liNotifies manager of anticipated ingredient- or product- need for timely ordering./li
liImplements food service policies and regulations./li
liUnderstands and correctly implements USDA Offer vs. Serve Policy./li
liLearns and follows good safety and sanitary procedures./li
liAdheres to Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards re: proper food safety temperatures./li
liPractices safe use and care of equipment and selects appropriate equipment for efficient completion of work task./li
liDemonstrates mastery of kitchen weights and measures./li
liKeeps kitchen and facility in a clean and orderly condition through daily sanitizing of work surfaces; washing customer trays, pots and pans; and sweeping and mopping of floor surfaces./li
liEnsures daily cleanliness of equipment and assigned area(s)./li
liCompletes job assignments within allotted time and at assigned speed level./li
liUses approved standardized recipes and prepares quality food in quantity assigned./li
liHelps merchandise food in an appealing manner./li
liAvoids waste in food preparation./li
liReports, accurately, food usage for production plans including quantities of food prepared, served and leftover on inventory tracer./li
liStores leftovers properly and safely./li
liPerforms cashier functions in a friendly, efficient manner while accurately maintaining customer account balances./li
liAccounts for USDA reimbursable meals./li
liFollows oral and written job-related work schedule./li
liCompletes job duties and follows instructions given by the manager./li
liShows initiative to improve services./li
liCooperates and works effectively to maintain a professional working relationship when interacting with other employees./li
liMaintains a helpful, pleasant, and courteous attitude toward students, staff and fellow workers./li
