Please visit a href="http://www.cmimgmt.com"www.cmimgmt.com/a to learn more about our company!/pstrongJob Description:/strongpThe Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance, repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, and utilization of electric energy at CMI’s customer site in Artesia, NM./ppKey Job Functions/pulliResponsible for all of the preventive maintenance,/liliTesting and repair of the electrical systems/liliAll electrical work performed shall be under the direct supervision and responsibility of this role/liliMust be on site at all times during the performance of work/liliInstalling or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment;/liliWorking from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments./li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongulliHigh school diploma/liliMinimum of 5 years of experience on equivalent equipment such as in Building Electrical Systems/lilistrongMust be a current licensed (journeyman level) by the State of New Mexico, with proof of experience on control wiring, VFD’s, basic electrical wiring, maintenance of secondary power transformers and testing of wiring and electrical equipment/strong/liliMust possess troubleshooting skills for high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems typically found in large commercial structures/liliSound ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems, motors, controls, and miscellaneous electrical systems/li/ulstrongAdditional Information:/strongpCMI is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
