pspanMake a difference./span/ppbOverview:/b/pulliTransport materials to customers./li/ulp/ppbTypical Functions:/b/pulliSafely drive truck or van to transport materials within specified area; verify loads against shipping papers; obtain signed receipts for material delivered./liliScan each delivery into system before leaving the warehouse; maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations./liliDetermine best route for effective delivery of product that will satisfy customers#39; expectations of a timely delivery; record delivery information; inspect truck equipment and supplies as required, and immediately report any deficiencies to ensure safe operation./liliPerform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse, as well as load and unload trucks./liliOperate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions; follow all Company safety procedures./liliMay perform Material Handler responsibilities when not engaged in primary responsibilities./liliPromote and maintain good customer relations; may promote new sales as opportunities arise./liliTake an active role in communicating customer feedback to Company management, including customer complaints, requests, returns, performance, competitive information, and potential opportunities./li/ulp/ppbPreferred Qualifications:/b/pulliHigh school diploma or GED/li/ulp/ppbWork Shift and Hours: /bMonday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm/pp/ppbCompensation Details: /bThe expected pay rate for this position is starting at $19.00 per hour depending on experience./pp/ppbAdditional Information:/b/pulliSteel toed boots required./liliCDL not required, but must pass DOT medical exam./li/ulp/ppThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals occupying this position of employment.
