This employee will also serve as the subject matter expert on CNC programming and fabrication, and will advise shop management, supervisors, and planners on the difficulty, complexity and risks that may arise in fabrication of potentially complex parts./pp/pp/ppbMore About the Role/b/pp/pulliMachine model components using CNC and manual mills and lathes./liliProgram, setup, and operate 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC machines./liliHand-finish parts as required, using contouring and polishing./liliCollaborate with design engineers, make recommendations and share best practices with machining approaches and materials as a subject matter expert (SME) on machining/liliRead and interpret engineering drawings (CAD/CAM) and tolerancing schemes, including GDamp;T./li/ulp/pp/ppbYou’ll Bring These Qualifications/b/pp/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED/lili1-5 years of experience with setting up, programming, editing and operating CNC milling and lathe machines/liliExperience with machining metals (aluminum, stainless steel) and other materials/liliExperience with design process and mechanical assembly.
