Whether assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, or simply being a friendly face, you’ll play a key role in helping residents live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship./p pAs a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will:/p ul liAssist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility./li liSupport residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences./li liEncourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life./li liAssist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces./li liPrepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience./li liMonitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff./li liWelcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home./li liPerform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care./li /ul pThis job also requires:/p ul liStrong collaboration and teamwork skills./li liClear and compassionate communication abilities./li liA commitment to serving with excellence and integrity./li liPrevious experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required./li liCritical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness./li liMinnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living)./li liAbility to pass a state-required background study./li liPhysical ability to perform the duties required by the position./li liAbility to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors./li /ul pAdditional Details:/p ul liEmployment Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt/li liDepartment: Nursing/li liTravel Requirements: No/li liThis role does not include supervisory responsibilities./li /ul
