We love it here and think you will, too! /b /pp/ppbJob Description:  /b/ppOur Radiologic Technologist performs Diagnostic Radiologic Procedures in a variety of settings and modalities on patients as ordered by physicians in an ethical and professional manner according to hospital and departmental policy and according to any applicable New York State guidelines.  /pp  /ppbEducation / Skills Required - Rad Tech:  /b/ppMust be licensed by the NYS Department of Health and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and maintain a current status.  /ppRegistration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) must be in two modalities (CT preferred) and maintain a current status.  /ppRequires sufficient sensitivity and interpersonal skills in dealing with apprehensive patients and family in a professional and compassionate manner.  /pp Requires positive and effective communicating skills for interaction with physicians and staff in any situation.  /ppRequires the ability to think and act quickly in order to deliver efficient quality care in a variety of stressful situations.  /pp/ppbExperience Required - Radiologic Tech:   /b/pp1 year CT experience is required.   /pp/ppbspanSchedule:/span/b/ppspanThe schedule for this position includes eight 10-hour shifts per pay period. The standard shift time is 9a-7:30p.
