Love. Unite./ppStaff Support Specialist will be working with and taking direction from the ELOP after-school program team. We are looking for a Site Support Specialist to enhance the competencies of all ELOP line staff by designing and conducting training that will boost employeesrsquo; workplace performance. This person will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering modules, learning materials, and managing all phases of staff support./ppstrongMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED/strong/pul type="disc"liMust be at least 18 years of age/liliHigh School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) and skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to successfully perform this job./lili48 Semester Units or receipt of the county paraprofessional certificate/liliA minimum of 1 year experience working in an after school setting preferred/liliReliable transportation/liliThe application must include Covid-19 vaccination status and/or include a copy of the vaccination card (if applicable)./li/ulpstrongDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pul type="disc"liSign in the front office and onto EZReport upon arriving at the site. Sign out in EZReport when leaving. In addition, follow your organization#39;s sign-in and out procedures./liliCheck in with the program facilitator upon arriving at the site and meet when appropriate during the site visit./liliIdentify training needs by observing the strengths and weaknesses of staff./liliPlan, prepare, and provide the necessary training for site staff as needed./liliDeliver group and individual instruction and training covering a range of topics./liliConduct new hire training and acclimate new hires to the ELOP program./liliProvide ongoing training and support for all staff including paraprofessional observation during noon time services./liliSubmit weekly recaps to district, site administrator, agency supervisor, and ELOP supervisors./liliObserve and monitor the results of staff development./liliWork together with agency coordinators to create support plans for staff./liliPeriodically evaluate training and make necessary adjustments./liliStay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development./liliCommunicate with partner agencies regarding potential staff issues and concerns that deviate from ELOP program expectations in a timely manner (within 24-48 hours)/liliRespond when needed to a request from the Program Facilitator for assistance in supporting and developing staff skills/liliMentoring and modeling appropriate job duties for staff/liliSupport staff with planning and scheduling/liliSelecting or developing training aids including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and reference works./liliPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned./li/ulpstrongWORKING CONDITIONS/strong/pul type="disc"liWork is generally performed at a school site during after-school hours.
