Welcomes clients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answers or refers inquiries./liliProvide quality customer service./liliCheck in and or out patients and ensure all information and billing is complete and accurate in a pleasant manner./li/ulpstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliGreet and attend to clients in person and over the phone./liliProfessionally assist providers, staff, visitors, and clients./liliCheck in and or check out of clients./liliMaintain clinic inventory such as checking supplies, scheduling equipment, and maintenance repairs./liliEnsure that stock levels are adequate and orders are made timely./liliAnswer all phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner./liliPerform all duties within HIPAA, OSHA and PRIME’s policies, procedures and regulations./liliMailing, shipping, sorting and distributing mail./liliAssist clients and patients with completing necessary forms and documentation./liliMaintaining and entering electronic medical records and files./liliMaintain confidentiality of all providers, staff, and client information./liliSchedule appointments between providers and clients./liliLiaise between staff with discretion and professionalism./liliAdhere to policy and procedures during all activities./liliAssist with admissions, check in or checkout and treatment of clients as per agreed protocols./liliCommunicate medical results and/or issues to clients under clinical supervision./liliProcess and complete accurate records of the client visit within accordance to the set timeframe./liliEnsure all necessary paperwork is entered correctly during the check in process./liliEnsure all completed paperwork, required testing was completed upon the patient's departure./liliScan, fax and or email results to clients and attachments/liliFollow all DOT and MRO protocols to ensure PRIME is in compliance/liliMay be required to travel and work at different PRIME locations/liliMust have reliable transportation/liliMay be required to work overtime and or holidays/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpRequirements/ppstrongRequired skills and qualifications/strong/pulli2+ years of experience at a healthcare facility in a medical receptionist or medical assistant role (essential)./liliWorking knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and medical coding (highly advantageous)./liliKnowledge of Systoc/liliCommunication skills to converse clearly over the telephone and in person./liliInnovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills./liliMeticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask./liliStrong organizational, administrative, and planning skills./liliSelf motivatednbsp;/liliAbility to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations./liliAbility to use discretion while working with sensitive information./liliExcellent documentation, communication, and IT skills./liliPassionate about healthcare excellence./li/ulpstrongPhysical Demands: /strongSitting or standing for prolonged periods of time, lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds. Repetitive motion. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
