Leadership positions start at $23/hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.#160;/pp/ppLocations:#160;Columbus, OH / San Diego, CA/ppstrongWe are hiring immediately. /strongShifts run from 12PM - 8:30PM weekdays and weekends with the possibility to work part-time or full-time.#160;/ppstrongCanvasser Responsibilities/strong ($21/hr):/pulliEngage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner/liliDeliver a compelling campaign message while meeting fundraising standards#160;/liliParticipate in staff training to improve outreach skills/li/ul#160;pstrongTeam Leader Responsibilities/strong ($23/hr):/pulliThe canvasser responsibilities plus:/liliManage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day and debriefing with them at the end of the day/liliEnsure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be safe and successful/liliAssist directors with canvasser training and administrative work/li/ul#160;pstrongemThe ideal candidate:/em/strong/pulliPassionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy/liliStrong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone/liliHard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible/liliOpen to new challenges and are interested in building their campaign skills/liliCulturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community/liliPrior canvassing experience is not required, but nice to have!/li/ul#160;pemWe are committed to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
