Maintenance Mechanic

Overview:
Adecco Staffing is currently seeking dependable and skilled Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing facility in Fresno, CA. This full-time position offers competitive pay between $25.00 and $26.00 per hour, with 1st shift running from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2nd shift from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. In this role, you’ll be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and general facility upkeep to ensure smooth plant operations in a fast-paced, food-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on processing machinery and support equipment

• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Maintain tools, inventory, and work areas in safe, organized condition

• Support ammonia refrigeration systems and update PSM/PM records

• Complete work orders accurately and on time

• Follow all company safety protocols and PPE requirements

• Communicate maintenance issues clearly across departments

• Assist with building and facility repairs as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 1–3 years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance

• Technical training or certification in related fields preferred

• Hands-on experience with welding, basic electrical, and refrigeration systems

• Able to work in cold, wet, and raw material environments

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally

Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
