Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a hospital in Lima, OH as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing a new location. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures and operate advanced equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

\n
  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential.
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT acceptable; RCIS preferred.
  • Vocational/Technical degree in RCIS, Radiology Tech, or accredited Electrophysiology program. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications. American Heart Association preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with cardiac catheterization procedures, PCI, IABP, Impella, FFR, IVUS, pacemakers, electrophysiology procedures, structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR, MitraClip), ECMO, and TandemHeart.
  • Experience supporting neuro-interventional procedures such as cerebral angiograms, thrombectomy, coiling, and carotid stenting.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, participate in on-call rotation, and stay beyond scheduled shift when required.
  • State licensure when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Prior experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced interventional lab.
  • Experience with device-supported procedures and structural heart interventions.

Assignment Details

\n
  • Four 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday as assigned.
  • Daily hours 6:30 am–5:00 pm.
  • Minimum of one weekday on-call shift per week.
  • On-call every 4th weekend, with additional on-call shifts as needed for coverage.
  • May be required to stay beyond scheduled shift if multiple procedure rooms remain in operation.

As a traveling healthcare professional, you will provide critical support in interventional and electrophysiology procedures that directly affect patient outcomes. Contribute to patient preparation, equipment calibration, monitoring during procedures, and maintenance of a safe electronically and radiologically compliant laboratory. Execute rapid, informed decisions based on multi-source monitoring and diagnostic data. Support accurate procedural documentation and supply management.
