Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC.
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and perioperative staff.
  • Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
  • Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
  • Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia.
  • Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in EMR systems.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

  • NBCRNA Board Certification
  • Active Michigan RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (AHA)
  • Clean malpractice/license history
  • Not accepting new graduates

Working Hours

  • Varied day shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours)
  • No on-call or weekend requirements
