Salary:
$175,000-$200,000 (+ discretionary bonus)

Director of Finance Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategy aligned with company goals

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, job costing, and WIP

• Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure adequate liquidity

• Maintain GAAP compliance; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax filings (sales, payroll, unemployment, etc.)

• Lead risk management including bonding, insurance, and 401K compliance

• Mentor and manage the finance/accounting team

• Collaborate with leadership on financial decision-making and growth planning

Director of Finance Qualifications:

• CPA required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience

• Expertise in construction accounting, WIP reporting, and job costing preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls

• Experience with ERP systems (Viewpoint, Sage) and advanced Excel

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in operations
