A leading academic medical center in New Jersey is seeking an accomplished physician to serve asDivision Chief of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee and advance all clinical, educational, research, and administrative activities within a well-established pediatric pulmonology division.
Position Overview:
Provide visionary leadership for a team of pediatric pulmonologists, overseeing faculty activities in clinical care, teaching, research, and administration.
Direct all scholarly, clinical, and educational initiatives within the division, including outpatient and inpatient services at a major childrens hospital.
Participate in and foster collaborative research, with opportunities for both clinical and laboratory-based investigation.
Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows across a full spectrum of pediatric training programs.
Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other pediatric subspecialists, research faculty, and affiliated institutions.
Qualifications:
Board certification in Pediatric Pulmonology.
Demonstrated track record of excellence in clinical care, education, and investigative work.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey.
Compensation and Benefits:
Minimum academic base salary:$268,759 per year, with additional eligibility for faculty practice compensation.
The final salary offer will be determined by qualifications, experience, expertise, and internal equity, and may be influenced by available departmental or grant funding.
