Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) IT Support Supervisor Seeking an individual to manage all aspects of user-facing technology in the organization by managing enterprise software and user accounts, developing and maintaining end user training, and providing end user support by managing and maintaining an effective help desk staff and structure as IT Support Supervisor. This position is a member of the OWASA leadership team and should have demonstrated skills with coaching, training, motivating, and mentoring individuals for individual and team success. Key responsibilities include: Manages the Installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise software applications while and oversees licensing compliance and system deployments. Manages user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory, Entra, SharePoint, and distribution lists including onboarding and offboarding employee system access. Supervises IT Technical Specialist and oversees incident response, troubleshooting, and help desk operations. Oversees response process, including issue logging and resolution tracking. Creates user documentation, training materials, and conducts training sessions for new and transitioning staff. Manages client devices, monitors performance, deploys hardware, and enforces security policies. Serves as backup for Infrastructure Administrator and Business Systems Analyst roles. Implements new technologies, gathers requirements, purchases equipment, and provides security oversight including breach response. Provides technical expertise for non-IT Department projects and responds to system outages and emergencies 24/7/365. Candidates should possess an associate’s degree or have completed two years of college-level coursework in an IT-related field, along with a minimum of four years of experience managing IT client systems and at least one year in a leadership role. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Team members are our most important resource.
