Urology Locums Physician - North Carolina, Call and Rounding Coverage

Urology assignment in Winston-Salem with a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, starting December 2025.

Highlights:

• Beeper call with 30-minute response time
• Mix of clinic, rounding, and consult coverage
• Multiple winter dates still open

Practice Setting:

• Adult-only patient population
• Supported by OR staff and inpatient teams
• Cerner EMR in use
• Dedicated block time in OR

Schedule:

• Weekdays 7a to 7p, with call coverage as needed
• Available shifts include several in January and February 2026
• Includes weekends and 24-hour call periods
• Call covers multiple local hospitals

Cases and Procedures:

• General urology including ureteroscopy and laparoscopic procedures
• Must manage admissions and inpatient consults
• Advanced procedures preferred, not required

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Eligible in Urology (within 5 years)
• Active North Carolina license
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Travel Accommodations:

• Airfare, lodging, and rental car covered
• Direct travel coordination and reimbursement
