Urologist opening: Pullman, WA - Located 70m to SpokanePosition Details:Full-time, permanentFTE: 1.0Call: 1:5EMR: EpicPatients per day: 20-25General schedule: 4 days per weekDaVinci RobotWork with the healthcare team to provide patients with urology medical care services within the standard of care for urology patientsProvides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population.Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditionsOrder laboratory and diagnostic tests, and refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help treat the health issue they are experiencing.Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.Adhere to organization and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.Document patient care conversations, care provided and all other work as defined by organizational standards in the EMR.Promotes and contributes to a positive work environment, serving others with professional and positive attitude.Responsible to train, demonstrate, or guide others in the performance of assigned work, includes, but not limited to, medical students and resident physicians.Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.Maintain a clean and safe work area and take responsibility for departmental space.Participation in organizational wide new employee orientation, successful completion of departmental orientation, and other medical staff committees.Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility.
