Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in North Sacramento. ️ Roles & Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients based on individualized plans of care
Develop comprehensive treatment goals based on patient needs and physical conditions
Deliver safe and effective physical therapy sessions with appropriate documentation
Supervise therapy assistants and aides as needed, ensuring top-tier patient care
Maintain accurate records and documentation for billing, compliance, and communication
Coordinate with physicians, patients, families, and caregivers to optimize recovery outcomes
Adhere to all state Practice Acts and professional guidelines
Attend staff meetings, in-services, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Stay up-to-date with continuing education and maintain required licensure
✅ Requirements
Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program (or equivalent if internationally educated)
Current California PT License (or eligible for licensure)
Current CPR certification (as required by state board)
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with ability to lead and collaborate effectively
Proficiency in EMR and documentation software preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients safely
