Position Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to work in a school district located in Franklin, VA. This is a contract position, where the School Psychologist will be employed by ProCare Therapy and assigned to support local schools within the district.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results

• Provide individual and group counseling services

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student development

• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings

• Contribute to behavior intervention planning and mental health support strategies

• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and reports

Requirements

• Valid Virginia Teaching License with a School Psychologist endorsement

• Masters degree in School Psychology (required)

• Experience in a K12 school setting preferred

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and consultation skills

• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
