Avis Greece is on the hunt for an exceptional Software Engineer to join the IT Service Delivery Department, operating under the IT Directorate. In this role, you will be part of the Team responsible for the operational support of the company’s core IT systems. You will design and develop interfaces between various systems and actively contribute to project teams, collaborating with leading consulting firms and Greek IT integrators to build the next generation of AVIS back-end systems, portals, mobile applications, and Azure infrastructure. You'll work alongside seasoned professionals across the entire IT spectrum—consultants, project managers, architects, front-end and back-end developers, IT security specialists, and more—while advancing your personal and professional growth through a range of training programs and certification opportunities.

🎯 Your Mission:

• Maintenance, Optimization and administration of the major back-office Enterprise applications ERP, CRM, Invoicing;

• First level Operational support and consultation of users in the Company's major IT systems;
• Design, Development, Parameterization, Customization and API development for Enterprise Applications;
• Troubleshooting , debugging and SW optimization;
• As of part of the Service Delivery Department you will act as the technical knowhow repository of the company and preserve the integrity of the technical documentation and the appropriate code versioning;
• Work in-close cooperation with the IT Security to ensure Systems Security and the compliance of current and new systems in development (Secure by Design) with the appropriate standards and the GDRP regulation, and;
• Participate in Project Teams and provide consultation, guidance, and knowhow for the implementation of new features to existing applications or the development of the next generation of portals and mobile apps.

Requirements

🌟 What Spells Success: Your Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Systems or relevant studies;
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience as a SW Developer, SW Engineer, or a Full-Stack Developer in an IT /Consulting Company or the IT Department of a major Banking, Telecom or Retail sector Company;
• Working experience with C#;
• 3+ years of working experience with TSQL;
• 3+ years of working experience with RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL);
• 3+ years of working experience with Restful, webservices, json processing technologies;
• Solid, documented knowledge of the .NET framework will be highly appreciated;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language both oral and written, and;
• Excellent communication, organizational & problem-solving skills.
