Medical Director

Salary and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $152,000 $326,000
  • Sign-on bonus
  • Incentive bonus

  • No hospital rounding or on-call (light, rotating call only)
  • Flexible full-time schedule with only one late weekday

Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide medical oversight for primary care and specialized service lines
  • Deliver direct patient care including chronic disease management, preventive care, urgent visits, and follow-ups
  • Supervise and mentor clinicians, providing ongoing professional development
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and refine clinical protocols
  • Engage in quality improvement projects and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Support services addressing HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and Latent Tuberculosis
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and patient-centered care aligned with organizational values
  • Participate in provider recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Current, unrestricted medical license
  • Active DEA and Controlled Substance Registration
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems
  • Prior leadership and mentoring experience preferred
  • Passion for serving diverse and underserved communities
