Experience Desired: hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on Micros (10 yrs); Terraform to provision and manage Azure infrastructure as code (IaC) (5 yrs); CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for Azure-based applications (5 yrs); experience configuring backups, replication, or failover for Azure database (5 yrs); Implement SRE principles: monitoring (5 yrs)

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Job Description

Required Experience and Education:

• 10+ years in application development (end-to-end solutions) and 5+ years as a Cloud Engineer (Azure focus).

• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.

• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.

Required Technical Skills:

• Azure Services: Compute, storage, networking, PaaS offerings.

• Database Ops: Backups, replication, failover (Azure Postgres/Cosmos DB).

• Messaging: Kafka, Azure Service Bus/Event Hub.

Required Soft Skills:

• Self-starter, agile (SCRUM), ability to navigate ambiguity.

Core Responsibilities

• Design scalable, cost-effective Azure solutions using native services (e.g., Azure Postgres, Cosmos DB, Service Bus).

• Address non-functional requirements: availability, backups, disaster recovery.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform for provisioning.

• CI/CD Pipelines: GitHub Actions for deployments (Microservices/Spring Boot apps).

• Remediate security findings (IAM, data protection, network security).

• Implement SRE principles: monitoring (Azure native tools), logging, and alerting.

• Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices.

• Collaborate with DevOps/application teams (ReactJS, Spring Boot, Kafka).
