Job Description
Position: Clinic LPN – Rheumatology
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday – Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary based on provider schedule)
Pay: Starting at $20.83/hr — commensurate with experience
Sign-On Bonus:$2,500 with a 1-year commitment upon full-time hire
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Rheumatology clinic. As a Clinic LPN, you will play an essential role in supporting patient care through direct clinical support, coordination of care, and communication with providers and staff. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a specialty team focused on improving the quality of life for patients managing chronic and complex rheumatologic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and document vital signs, medical history, and symptoms
- Administer medications and injections as ordered by providers
- Assist with in-office procedures and diagnostic testing
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-ups
- Provide patient education related to treatment plans and medications
- Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and other clinic staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
- Ensure a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Current Oklahoma LPN license in good standing
- Previous experience in a clinic or specialty setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Proficient with EMR systems and basic clinical procedures

* Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
* Administer prescribed medications or start intravenous fluids, noting times and amounts on patients' charts.
* Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.
* Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, group homes, and similar institutions. May work under the supervision of a registered nurse. Licensing required.
* Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, rubbing with alcohol, massaging, or performing catheterizations.
* Answer patients' calls and determine how to assist them.
* Supervise nurses' aides or assistants.
* Evaluate nursing intervention outcomes, conferring with other healthcare team members as necessary.
* Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
* Record food and fluid intake and output.
* Assemble and use equipment, such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, or oxygen suppliers.
