Mental Health Worker- Family Based

York/Adams Counties

The Challenge, in a nutshell:

The Mental Health Worker-Family Based will be part of a two-person Treatment Team that will be trained in and implement the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy model to strengthen relationships in families, improve executive functioning, interrupt negative patterns, and improve communication. The Treatment Team will serve a maximum of eight (8) families in York/Adams Counties and will provide intensive therapeutic services in settings other than the traditional office environment.

What you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Mental Health Worker-Family Based CHALLENGE:

  • Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's life
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications (EMR)
  • Valid PA driver's license and auto insurance
  • Act 33 Clearance, Act 34 Clearance, FBI Clearance

Qualifications for The Family Based Mental Health Worker:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, pre-med, rehabilitation, theology or anthropology or a degree in the field of human services plus 1 year experience in a CASSP system program
