Chemistry Laboratory Technician

Location: Ogden, UT
Schedule: Monday–Friday; Training: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Shift: 4:00 PM – Midnight (or overnight if needed)
Pay: $24.15/hr for 3rd shift
Interview Format: Virtual via Microsoft Teams and/or in-person

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing test solutions, setting up experiments, performing extractions, analyzing samples, and documenting results in a regulated lab environment.

You’ll work with human and/or bovine plasma or blood products and other biohazardous materials. A Hepatitis B vaccine (provided by the company) or signed declination form is required

As our next Laboratory Technician, you’ll:

• Prepare test solutions using human or bovine plasma, blood, and water
• Set up and operate lab instruments like spectrophotometers, chemistry analyzers, pH meters, and benchtop pumps
• Perform sample extractions and contribute to meaningful analysis
• Document every step following GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)

You Might Be a Great Fit If You Have:

• Previous academic or professional lab experience (required)
• A background in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Medical Laboratory Sciences (Bachelor’s preferred—but not required)
• Experience with spectrophotometers, pH meters, analyzers, or benchtop pumps (preferred)
• Understanding of GDPs and SOPs
• Comfort handling plasma, blood, and biohazardous materials
