Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Quincy, California
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy treatments as prescribed by attending physicians

• Serve patients across various care settings including acute, swing bed, skilled nursing, and outpatient

• Supervise support staff and ensure patient safety

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy

• Required: Current California Physical Therapy License

• Required: AHA-approved BLS certification

• Required: Successful completion of the NPTE (National Physical Therapist Examination)

• Compliant with all state regulatory requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in acute, swing/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient settings preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a compassionate approach to patient care

• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Capable of managing diverse patient populations and diagnoses

• Excellent time management, multitasking, and computer proficiency

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
