Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Quincy, California
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy treatments as prescribed by attending physicians
Serve patients across various care settings including acute, swing bed, skilled nursing, and outpatient
Supervise support staff and ensure patient safety
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
Required: Current California Physical Therapy License
Required: AHA-approved BLS certification
Required: Successful completion of the NPTE (National Physical Therapist Examination)
Compliant with all state regulatory requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in acute, swing/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient settings preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a compassionate approach to patient care
Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Capable of managing diverse patient populations and diagnoses
Excellent time management, multitasking, and computer proficiency
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
