Warehouse Associate $17 hourly payrate

Temp to Hire

Located off of Jimmy Carter Blvd

Responsibilities

Order processing - picking, checking and packing orders.
Receiving - product in and storing on shelves
Maintaining organization in the warehouse.
Verifying inventory
Assist in quality control procedures and inspection of products.
Complete basic paperwork relative to shipping and receiving tasks. This includes preparing necessary documentation regarding weight and freight cost on the order and proper labeling and documenting and special packages.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in a distribution warehouse using Forklift and hand tools building pallets.
. Knowledge of general warehouse practices.
• Effective communication skills - verbal and written.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Forklift and Order Picker experience.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
Self-motivated.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Basic reading and math skills.
Ability to spend a significant period of time each day engaged in physical activity. Preferred experience

Takes instruction and works well as a team.

Preferred Experience

• Pulling orders and shrink wrapping product and building pallets
• Forklift Experience on Sit down Lift
• Quality control / inspection
• UPS Worldship
•  Scheduling shipments  with the carrirer for pickup Loading and unloading
