Multiple PLC Systems Automation Controls Roles: Field, Design, Project

A stable (in business for over 40 years) and expanding company based in North Carolina, specializing as an OEM in PLC-based electronic and electromechanical control systems, serves various industries, including:

- Building Automation- Manufacturing and Energy (including Smart Grid)

- Data Centers and Telecommunication Systems

- Electric Vehicle Charging Systems

With the advantage of designing and manufacturing most of their low-level electronic and electromechanical components, the company is experiencing growth and is looking to fill the following positions at their facility in the RTP area:

System Build and Design Engineering: an Engineer who will focus on the design and construction of custom PLC-based electromechanical automation and process control systems (HMI, DCS, MEP, SCADA, and similar) tailored to external client specifications, a BSEE is preferred.

Project Manager: a background in PLC-based electromechanical systems and/or power-monitoring hardware-software systems. This entrepreneurial role involves significant communication with engineering, sales, marketing, management, external clients, and other teams during the system build and design through delivery project phases, as well as to innovate new products and systems based on client requirements and market intelligence.

Field Applications Engineer: experience with PLC-based electromechanical systems (or similar HMI/DCS/SCADA systems). The Field Applications Engineer will engage in a variety of tasks, including system installations, cutovers, troubleshooting, and testing, while also supporting the sales team with technical explanations during sales presentations; Experience with VFDs, AC Motors, Drives and similar is preferred.
