Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language services in an elementary school setting across multiple school sites in San Diego, CA. The role is a full-semester contract beginning August 5, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek spread over five days. Professionals with are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience are preferred to effectively manage a caseload of 30-40 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Collaborate with educational teams across multiple school sites.
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs).
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as SLPA - CCC, SLPA - CFY.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-40 students.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within San Diego.
