Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Soliant is a leading provider of educational staffing services, dedicated to connecting talented professionals with schools in need. We are currently seeking passionate and qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our team and support students for a district that is close by to the surrounding area of Gibsland, Louisiana.
Position Overview:
- A School-Based COTA is needed to provide part-time services for the 25/26 School year, for approximately 25 Hours per week. The school year will be from August 4th, 2025, to May 22nd, 2026. The School-Based COTA will treat a K-12th grade caseload, traveling to different school locations within the district.
- As a School-Based COTA, you will work collaboratively with occupational therapists and school staff to support students with diverse needs. Your role will involve implementing therapeutic interventions, assisting with assessments, and promoting student independence in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy programs.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in various settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a prehensive approach to student support.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Associate's Degree as a CertifiedOccupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- CurrentLouisiana State Issued COTA licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
