Volt has partnered with a top server manufacturing plant in LaVergne, TN to help identify multiple  Computer Server Repair Technicians for immediate hire.  

As a Computer Repair Technicians you will:

  • Ensure product quality through repairing and testing of product to ensure specs are met
  • Troubleshoot electro mechanical products, documents issues and reports potential quality related problems to quality management
  • Test and diagnostics of notebooks and servers.
  • Repair or replace parts as necessary for notebooks and servers
  • Troubleshoots technical issues and complete applicable documentation.
  • Use of tools and test equipment of various types, to diagnose issues with notebooks and servers
  • Document and communicate repair issues to engineering
  • Data Collection and analysis for use in problem solving an continuous improvement
 

Position is temp to hire. This role is full time, onsite, 1st shift and 2nd shift at their plant in LaVergne. 2nd shift being 4pm - 1:30am.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • 6 months or more of technical repair experience (server, notebook, computer, etc)
  • 6 months of debugging or testing of electro mechanical assemblies required
  • Anyone with experience building computers from scratch
  • A plus certification is a plus
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
  • High School diploma or equivalent
 

Pay Rate: $21-21.75/hr
