A K-12 school in Humboldt, IA, is seeking a qualified professional to serve as a School Psychologist for the uping school year on a contract basis. This role is integral to supporting students academic success, socio-emotional well-being, and behavioral development within a prehensive educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs, strengths, and learning challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed to support students mental health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
- Promote positive school climate initiatives and support preventative programs addressing student wellness.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations within educational environments.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
Location:Humboldt, Iowa Serving students across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.
