Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Humboldt, IA, is seeking a qualified professional to serve as a School Psychologist for the uping school year on a contract basis. This role is integral to supporting students academic success, socio-emotional well-being, and behavioral development within a prehensive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs, strengths, and learning challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed to support students mental health.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Promote positive school climate initiatives and support preventative programs addressing student wellness.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations within educational environments.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.

Location:Humboldt, Iowa Serving students across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: School year contract (NSY)
