HVAC Technician

Salary: $65,000-$70,000

Job Title: HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning units, ventilation, and thermostats.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to seasonal schedules and manufacturer specifications.
• Install HVAC systems and components in new or renovated units as needed.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using digital work order systems.
• Ensure systems comply with local, state, and federal codes and standards.
• Work closely with the property management and maintenance team to ensure timely service and minimize tenant disruptions.
• Provide recommendations for energy-saving upgrades and equipment replacements.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and company vehicle.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Minimum 35 years of HVAC experience, preferably in a residential or mixed-use property environment.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, diagnostic tools, and controls.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Availability for rotating on-call shifts and occasional weekends.
